Patch Cables vs. Bulk Cable
Patch cables are pre-terminated and ready to plug in — ideal for rack patching, switch-to-switch connections, and server connections where a finished, tested cable is needed immediately. Our Cat6 slim patch cables use a reduced-diameter jacket (under 4mm) that keeps dense patch panels clean and airflow unrestricted.
Bulk cable (sold by the spool) is used for structured cabling runs — pulled through walls, conduit, or above drop ceilings. Our Cat6 CMR and Cat6A CMR bulk spools meet TIA-568 specifications and are UL-listed for riser applications. Use with field-termination keystone jacks or RJ45 plugs of your choice.
