Yes — the Teltonika RUTM50 is certified on all three major US carriers: Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T, including AT&T's FirstNet. That's the first thing most buyers ask about a 5G router, because an uncertified device can be refused on a business account. Resilient Tec sells the new Teltonika RUTM50 for $702.00. Here's the certification picture, which 5G bands each carrier uses, and what to set up first.

Carrier certification
| Carrier | Status | Main 5G bands on the RUTM50 |
|---|---|---|
| Verizon | Certified (announced by Teltonika, October 2024) | n77 (C-band) |
| T-Mobile | Listed in T-Mobile's business IoT device certification catalog | n71 (600 MHz), n41 (2.5 GHz) |

The full 5G band list on US retailer listings is n71, n5, n2, n41 and n77. When 5G isn't available, the RUTM50 falls back to LTE Cat 18/19, including LTE bands 71 and 41. Resilient Tec sells the Teltonika RUTM50 (RUTM50000000), a dual-SIM 5G router for North America, for $702.00.
Setting up on your carrier
- Use a business data SIM. Many consumer phone plans don't permit router use. Ask your carrier for an IoT or business internet plan.
- Connect all four cellular antennas. The RUTM50 has four cellular connectors, and 5G performance depends on using all of them. It ships with 4 cellular, 2 Wi-Fi and 1 GNSS antenna.
- Check the APN. RutOS can detect the APN automatically; business and private-network SIMs often need it entered manually.
- Use both SIM slots. Two carriers — for example Verizon and T-Mobile — give you failover between networks, not just between SIMs.
- Manage it in RMS. Teltonika's cloud platform handles firmware updates and remote config across many units.
SA vs NSA
The RUTM50 supports both 5G architectures. Non-standalone (NSA) uses an LTE anchor alongside 5G and is what most US 5G coverage has been built on; standalone (SA) runs on a 5G core alone. Supporting both means the router works on whichever your carrier provides at the site.
