A refurbished HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 is a 1U, two-socket server for 1st- and 2nd-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. It has 24 memory slots (up to 3TB), eight small-form-factor drive bays and up to three PCIe 3.0 slots. Resilient Tec has three DL360 Gen10 builds in stock: $1,730.75 for an entry Silver 4208 build, $2,691.00 for a Gold 6226 build with 128GB, SAS storage and 10GbE, and $4,519.50 for the same Gold 6226 build with all-flash storage. Each ships tested, with an Easy Install rail kit and a lifetime warranty.
Below: what is in each build, which one fits which job, what you can change before it ships, and how the DL360 compares with Dell's R640.

Short answer: three builds, from $1,730.75
Refurbished HPE DL360 Gen10 from $1,730.75 at Resilient Tec
Choose by workload. The Silver 4208 build is a solid first server, branch-office host or network appliance. The Gold 6226 builds add 50% more cores per processor, four times the memory and 10GbE SFP+, for virtualization and databases. Pick the SSD version when storage latency matters more than capacity.

Which DL360 Gen10 Should You Buy?
Silver 4208 build — $1,730.75
The entry point, and still a full enterprise server: dual processors, redundant power, a Smart Array controller with 2GB of flash-backed cache, mirrored SSD boot and iLO 5 for remote management. It suits a first Proxmox or ESXi node, a branch-office file, AD or backup host, or a pfSense or OPNsense appliance. With 24 slots, 32GB is a starting point, not a ceiling.
Gold 6226 with SAS — $2,691.00
The workhorse. Gold 6226 gives you 50% more cores per socket at a higher clock, 128GB installed and a 534FLR-SFP+ FlexibleLOM for dual 10GbE. That is the right base for a VMware, Proxmox or Hyper-V host running a few dozen VMs, or a database and line-of-business application server. With server memory prices up sharply through 2025 and 2026, installed and tested memory is a large part of the difference from the Silver build.
Gold 6226 with SSD — $4,519.50
The same server with four 1.92TB SATA SSDs in place of the spinning SAS drives. Raw capacity is about the same; random I/O is in a different class. Choose this build when storage latency holds your workload back: busy VMs, databases, CI runners. If you need capacity more than speed, the SAS build plus SSDs in the open bays later is the flexible route.

What You Can Change Before It Ships
Every build can be customized. Common changes:
- More memory. All 24 DIMM slots are usable with both processors installed. HPE rates the DL360 Gen10 for up to 1.5TB with RDIMMs or 3TB with LRDIMMs on 2nd-generation Xeon Scalable.
- More or faster storage. Fill the two open bays, or swap the SAS drives for SSDs.
- Faster networking. The FlexibleLOM slot takes adapters up to 25GbE.
- Processor upgrades on the Silver build, to Gold processors.

Can the DL360 Gen10 Run a GPU?
Yes, a low-profile, single-width one. HPE lists the NVIDIA T4 16GB (R0W29C) as supported in the DL360 Gen10. The T4 is a 70 W card powered entirely from its PCIe slot, so it needs no GPU power cables. That suits inference, video transcoding and VDI in 1U. Resilient Tec has a refurbished HPE NVIDIA T4 16GB (R0W29C) for $849.
Double-width GPUs such as the A40 or V100 do not fit a 1U chassis. If your plan involves one of those, start from a 2U Dell R740xd GPU Ready build ($2,995) and read Custom Dell R740xd GPU servers. For HPE's GPU power cable kits, see 871828, 871829, 871830: which HPE GPU cable kit do you need?

HPE DL360 Gen10 or Dell R640?
They are the same class of server: 1U, two sockets, 1st/2nd-gen Xeon Scalable, 24 DIMM slots and room for single-width GPUs like the T4. The choice usually comes down to which management stack your team already runs.
| HPE DL360 Gen10 | Dell R640 | |
|---|---|---|
| Management | iLO 5 | iDRAC 9 |
| RAID in our builds | Smart Array P408i-a, 2GB cache | PERC H330 or H740p |
| Boot in our builds | 2× 240GB SSD in front bays | BOSS-S1, 2× 240GB M.2 |
| PCIe slots | Up to 3, PCIe 3.0 | Up to 3, PCIe 3.0, low-profile |
| From (Resilient Tec) | $1,730.75 | $1,569.75 |
If your racks are already HPE, stay with iLO and Smart Array and buy the DL360. If you run Dell elsewhere, see our refurbished Dell R640 guide.
FAQ
How much does a refurbished HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 cost?
At Resilient Tec, refurbished DL360 Gen10 builds start at $1,730.75 for two Xeon Silver 4208 processors, 32GB, a Smart Array P408i-a and four 2TB SAS drives. Two Xeon Gold 6226 processors with 128GB and 10GbE are $2,691.00 with four 2TB SAS drives, or $4,519.50 with four 1.92TB SSDs. All three are in stock at Resilient Tec with a lifetime warranty. (Prices checked October 26, 2026.)
Where can I buy a refurbished HPE DL360 Gen10?
Directly from Resilient Tec, shipping from Knoxville, Tennessee, with POs and net terms available. Three configurations are in stock, each refurbished, shipped with an Easy Install rail kit and covered by a lifetime warranty.
Can you put a GPU in an HPE DL360 Gen10?
Yes, a low-profile, single-width one. HPE lists the NVIDIA T4 16GB (R0W29C) as supported in the DL360 Gen10. It draws 70 W from its slot, so no GPU power cables are needed. Double-width cards such as the A40 or V100 do not fit a 1U chassis; for those, use a 2U server such as the Dell R740xd.
How much memory does the DL360 Gen10 support?
The DL360 Gen10 has 24 DIMM slots across two processors. With 2nd-generation Xeon Scalable, HPE rates it for up to 1.5TB with RDIMMs or 3TB with LRDIMMs. Our Gold 6226 builds ship with 128GB and our Silver 4208 build ships with 32GB, leaving plenty of slots free.
How many drives does the DL360 Gen10 8SFF hold?
Eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA bays at the front. HPE also offers a universal media bay for two more drives and a rear drive option. Our builds use two bays for mirrored 240GB boot SSDs and four for data, leaving two open.
Does a refurbished DL360 Gen10 come with an operating system?
No. Our DL360 Gen10 builds ship without an OS. The server supports Windows Server, VMware ESXi, Proxmox, Red Hat, Ubuntu and other major Linux distributions, and iLO 5 lets you install remotely.
What warranty comes with a refurbished DL360 Gen10 from Resilient Tec?
The Resilient Tec lifetime warranty. If a part fails, we send an advance replacement when we have one in stock, or repair or replace the unit with an equivalent.
