MCP1600-E00AE30 Compatible 100G EDR InfiniBand QSFP28 Passive DAC Cable, 0.5m
Warranty: Lifetime
100Gb/s EDR InfiniBand QSFP28 passive DAC, 0.5 m. Coded for NVIDIA / Mellanox.
Compatible with NVIDIA / Mellanox MCP1600-E00AE30. A QSFP28-to-QSFP28 passive direct attach copper cable for 100Gb/s EDR InfiniBand, the fabric behind DGX-1, DGX-2 and most V100-era HPC clusters. Passive copper is the cheapest, lowest-latency, lowest-power way to make an in-rack EDR link.
Where It Fits
- Switches: NVIDIA / Mellanox Switch-IB and Switch-IB 2 EDR switches (SB7700, SB7790, SB7800, SB7890).
- Adapters: ConnectX-4, ConnectX-5 and ConnectX-6 VPI adapters running InfiniBand at EDR.
- Systems: DGX-1 (V100), DGX-2 and V100 / P100 servers on an EDR fabric.
InfiniBand or Ethernet? The "E" in MCP1600-E marks an EDR InfiniBand cable. If your ports run 100GbE, use the Ethernet-coded MCP1600-C001. Not sure how your adapter is configured? Send us the model and we will tell you.
