GPU & AI Infrastructure — NVIDIA GPUs, HGX Systems & High-Speed Interconnects
Building an AI training cluster, GPU inference farm, or high-performance compute environment requires more than just GPUs — it requires the right interconnects, cables, and accessories to wire everything together at the speeds AI workloads demand. Resilient Tec specializes in the networking and interconnect layer of GPU infrastructure, with a catalog focused on NVIDIA/Mellanox platforms.
What's in This Collection?
- GPU Compute Hardware — the NVIDIA A40 48GB (part number 900-2G133-0000-000), available new and refurbished, plus NVIDIA A100, H100, A30 GPUs and HGX/DGX system components (new and refurbished)
- GPU Servers — tested Dell PowerEdge GPU builds, including the R740xd A40 build and GPU-ready chassis with the enablement kit installed. See the GPU Servers & On-Prem AI Guide
- High-Speed DAC & AOC Cables — 200G QSFP56, 400G QSFP-DD, and 800G OSFP cables for GPU cluster fabric wiring
- InfiniBand & NVLink Accessories — HDR and NDR InfiniBand cables and components for DGX SuperPOD and HPC clusters. Building on H100 or H200? See the H100 / H200 interconnect matrix for the right cable or optic on every link.
- Network Adapters — Mellanox/NVIDIA ConnectX NICs for GPU servers
- Internal GPU Power Cables — genuine HPE keyed 8-pin cabling for powering accelerators inside ProLiant Gen10 servers: the single HPE 869820-001 cable ($49, in stock) or the full 871829-B21 kit ($159, 3 cables + 2 adapters). Not sure which part number you need? Read 871828, 871829, 871830: Which HPE GPU Cable Kit Do You Actually Need?
Why Interconnects Matter in AI Clusters
In an AI training cluster, GPU-to-GPU bandwidth is as critical as compute. A bottleneck in the fabric — wrong cable length, incompatible transceiver, mismatched breakout config — can reduce training throughput across the entire cluster. Every interconnect product in this collection is:
- EEPROM-coded for NVIDIA/Mellanox Spectrum and Quantum platforms — no "unsupported optics" errors
- Tested for 800G OSFP, 400G QSFP-DD, and 200G QSFP56 configurations common in DGX and HGX builds
- Free US shipping on every order, with in-stock SKUs shipping from Knoxville, Tennessee
Common AI Cluster Configurations Supported
| Platform | Switch | Cable Type | Speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| NVIDIA DGX H100 | Spectrum-4 SN5600 | OSFP DAC / AOC | 400G / 800G |
| NVIDIA HGX A100 | Spectrum-3 SN4600 | QSFP56 DAC / AOC | 200G |
| NVIDIA DGX A100 SuperPOD | Quantum QM8700 | InfiniBand HDR | 200Gbps |
| Custom GPU clusters | Arista / Cisco | QSFP28 / QSFP-DD DAC | 100G / 400G |
On-Prem Inference: The NVIDIA A40 48GB
For teams running LLM inference on hardware they own, the A40 is the most cost-effective route to 48GB of ECC data-center VRAM: a 70B model fits at 4-bit, and the 27–34B class runs at 23–29 tokens/sec. It is a passive 300W card with an EPS-style 8-pin power input, so it needs a server with GPU airflow and the correct GPU cable. Buy the A40 card on its own, or get it installed and tested in the R740xd A40 build. Measured numbers: What can you run on a 48GB A40?
The Resilient Tec Advantage for AI Infrastructure
- ✅ Deep expertise in Mellanox/NVIDIA interconnects — we've wired GPU clusters before
- ✅ EEPROM-coded cables — no compatibility errors that delay your cluster bring-up
- ✅ Lifetime warranty on all cables and transceivers
- ✅ Talk to a real engineer — not a chatbot — who knows DGX, HGX, and NDR InfiniBand
