Cable only
This listing is for the single cable. It does not include the rest of the 871829-B21 kit. A GPU install in a Gen10 chassis typically also needs a GPU-capable riser, heat sink and fan kit, so check your server's QuickSpecs. Example uses: powering an NVIDIA A40 48GB for on-prem LLM inference, or a Tesla P100 (Q0E21A). Both take the EPS-style 8-pin input this cable feeds.
Check before you order
- Your server is a DL380 or DL385 Gen10. Gen10 Plus servers use their own GPU cable kits, such as P39102-B21.
- Your GPU's power input is an EPS-style 8-pin, as on the A40, A100 PCIe and Tesla-class cards. Cards that use a standard PCIe 8-pin need a different cable.
- One cable powers one 8-pin input. Cards with two inputs need two cables.
- The part number on your old cable is 869820-001. 869821-001 is one digit away and is a different cable; it is the most common wrong order. 873193-001, 869805-001 and 869828-001 are also different cables. If your pull doesn't match, send us the number and we'll identify it.
